Here is an aftermovie of my Japan Tour in 2019. Enjoix! Nice little video of my live performance at Zwergenberg Session #2 at an outlying mountain hut in Tirol / Austria! Was a stunning scenery and great time with all the music lovers there! Record of my live performance at the lovely Hoppla! Festival in Basel on 21th June 2019. Starting more slow and experimental at the beginning the set transformes over trippy (middle) to ecstatic (end). It was an incredible atmosphere there, thanks to the crew and all the enthusiastic dancers! Dont forget while listening: This a LIVE record, not a "perfect" record!! ;) Thanks to Homebase Portraits for this video of my liveact after the workshop of Frickel Friday #3 w/ JOIX. It was a really nice evening from introduction of sound physics and synthesis over tinkering around with modules of Doepfer Musikelektronik,the little synth Arturia Microbrute, effects and a Didgeridoo to this little concert at the end!

Hier ist die Aufnahme für alle, die es verpasst haben oder nochmal reinhören möchten: My new Album TRINITY is out now!! The year 2018 was amazing! Es war alles dabei: Von atemberaubenden Festivals unter freiem Himmel bis hin zu dunklen und rumpelnden Räumen. Von berstend vollen Tanzflächen und einer euphorischer Stimmung bis hin zu versteckten kleinen Clubs, wo ich nur für eine Handvoll Leute spielte. Von einer fantastischen Japan Tour bis zu den geliebten Musikspielstätten in der Region (D2, Suite, Halle02, Villa Nachttanz, JUZ, Fatal, Kaprowbar, MS Connection). Das nächste Jahr 2019 wird ebenfalls ein besonderes Jahr, da ich dann mein 10 jähriges JOIX Bestehen feiern und das dritte Album TRINITY erscheinen wird! Ausserdem wird neben einer umfassenden Retrospektive in Form eines Podcasts auch ein eigenes Musiklabel das Licht der Welt erblicken. Es bleibt also weiterhin aufregend und ich bin sehr gespannt, wohin mich meine Reise als elektronischer Musikproduzent und Liveact noch führen wird. Many thanks for your support and a HAPPY NEW YEAR! Some impressions in form of photos and short videos you can find on my Instagram acount. Here is a full audio record of my live performance at the 9th anniversary of the Club About in Nagoya, hosted by Kiyo Nakamura, during my Japan Tour 2018 on 14th July: Probably one of my best live recordings so far! Lots of rough and noisy sounds!! :) It was an intense and high-energetic celebration of this venue and lots of fun to play there! Many thanks to Kiyo for the recording!! --german text below-- Ohne Kiyo würde es diese Aufnahme gar nicht geben, weil ich es auf dieser Japan Tour mal wieder zu oft versäumt habe, meine Livesets selbst mitzuschneiden. Er hat mir das vorher auch nicht mitgeteilt und das war gut so!! ;) Weil wie andere Musiker hier sicherlich aus eigener Erfahrung nachvollziehen können, hat man schnell einen "Stock im Allerwertesten" sobald ein Aufnahmegerät mitläuft: man will ja dann fehlerfrei und perfekt spielen und das geht dann oft auf Kosten der Leichtigkeit und dem Eintauchen.. Heraus gekommen ist da jetzt also eine (aus meiner Sicht) ganz ansehnliche Live-Aufnahme welche die dicht gepackte Atmosphäre in dem Club mit seinem euphorisch feiernden Publikum ganz gut einfängt. Dazu ist aus technischer Sicht noch zu sagen, dass mein Hall-Modul in Japan leider seinen Geist aufgegeben hat und deshalb die live eingespielten Sounds teilweise etwas trockener klingen wie gewohnt. Dafür ist es dann um so rauer und krachiger! :D

Was a great night with a lovely party crowd, phantastic visuals and a powerful sound system. <3 No wishes left! :) 13.2.2018 Little presentation of my *spaceship* -ouhm- modular synthesizer as main source of most sounds I create. Ein weiteres Jahr neigt sich dem Ende zu.2017 war ein Jahr der bewegenden Auf und Abs, einigen tollen Gigs und immerhin einer Hand voll neuer Tracks, wovon einer auf Vinyl bei Lethal Dose Recordings raus kam, ein Remix für Ryoma Sasaki auf Ken Ishi Itois Label MYTH releast wurde und ein weiterer es auf die Compilation der Kreative Unruhe schaffte. Besonders gut wird mir meine Japan & Taiwan Tour in Erinnerung bleiben, bei der ich ein weiteres Mal die Freude hatte, vielen netten Menschen zu begegnen und meine Musik live zu spielen! Ein schöner Jahresabschluss in punkto Auftritte war dann auch das 20-jährige Jubiläum von Harlequins Universe, in bunter und beeindruckender Kulisse hoch über den Dächern Heidelbergs. Das Leben als elektronischer Musikproduzent und Liveact im kaum beachteten Underground von Mannheim ist ja nicht immer leicht, birgt aber durchaus auch Vorteile, wenn man nicht so sehr im Rampenlicht steht und "machen kann was man will". Das werde ich auch weiterhin tun und jenseits von Mainstream, Modeerscheinungen und Trends neuen Klängen aufspüren und in sattelfeste und hoffentlich mitreissende Arrangements giessen! Die durch Oszillatoren, Noise- und Hüllkurvengeneratoren, Verstärker, Verzerrer, Filter und Hallräume erzeugte Tiefe der elektronischen Musik mit ihren unendlichen Facetten strahlt für mich immer noch eine wahnsinnige Faszination aus!! Es ist und bleibt also meine grosse Leidenschaft und ich hoffe das auch im nächsten Jahr mit Euch wieder live zelebrieren zu können, ab Mitte März wäre ich wieder für Auftritte zu haben! ;) Ich wünsche Euch eine besinnliche Weihnachtszeit und im Anschluss einen guten Rutsch ins neue Jahr mit ordentlich guter Musik auf den Ohren!
